Debby Gooch

Executive Director of Memory Care

Executive Director of Memory Care, Debby Gooch, has gained more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare and is a skilled and seasoned veteran in the assisted living and memory care field. Prior to joining the Beau Ridge team, Debby served as the Director of Wellness at a different assisted living community, where she was responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the nursing and caregiving team members. She also spent many years working as the Regional Director of Quality Services for another assisted living community, where she hired and trained leadership team members and ensured that care standards were being met for 15 communities throughout four states. As a result of many years spent training healthcare professionals and overseeing the care of countless residents, Debby is considered a highly respected expert in her field, and the special affinity and passion she has cultivated for providing specialized memory care and serving as a support system for family and team members makes her the ideal leader for the SummerHouse Beau Ridge community.

Senior Lifestyle Counselor

Anna Ables is joining the team with a history of both hospitality and sales.  Anna is very much a people person and enjoys building relationships while promoting what she believes to be the best fit for that person.  In her spare time, she is a licensed Real Estate agent and specializes with first time homebuyers. Anna was born in the Delta but raised in Natchez, MS. She still loves Natchez and the beautiful history it holds.  Once Anna graduated high school, she obtained a Bachelor in Real Estate Finance from Mississippi State University.  She currently lives in Madison with her husband Shane and their two-year-old son Luke, but they are moving to Benton soon to enjoy the country life. Their two cats and two dogs will love that. They attend Pinelake Church’s Madison campus as a family.

Director of Celebrations, Brianne Smith, has worked in the senior living industry for several years, playing an integral role at St. Dominic’s before joining the Beau Ridge family in 2017. She is a Mississippi native, growing up in Brandon, MS and graduating from Hinds Community College. She is happily married to her husband, Destin, and is mother to their son, Waylon. Brianne is incredibly energetic and caring with a bright, bubbling personality which makes her the perfect person to craft an exceptional activities and events program that provides an exciting, engaging lifestyle for our SummerHouse Beau Ridge residents.


Roger Russel

Director of Culinary Services

Roger Russel, serves daily, delicious meals for the residents of the community. He was born and raised in Jackson and has been cooking professionally for more than 25 years. Before joining the SummerHouse Beau Ridge family in 2017, Roger served as the private chef for the Mayor of Madison. He developed his first passion for cooking from his grandfather Robert Lee Russell, a talented chef who taught him everything he knew. Roger’s favorite thing about cooking is getting to see the smiles and joy on the faces of those enjoying the food he prepares.

Director of Health & Wellness

Director of Health & Wellness, Joshua Lorenz, has served as a nurse for more than 9 years in the greater Jackson area and has loved every minute. He received his nursing license from Hinds Community College in December of 2010 and his first job was with Debby Gooch at a different senior living community. Under Debby’s leadership, Joshua was promoted after two years to Wellness Director. There, he started and ran the wellness program for three years before returning to Debby Gooch’s leadership at SummerHouse Beau Ridge. Here, he strives to ensure every resident has the dignity they deserve and the chance to participate in their care. He previously served on the board of The American Parkinson Association and loves to give back to his community. Joshua’s compassionate nature and exceptional leadership makes him an invaluable asset to both our SummerHouse Beau Ridge residents and team members.
