Executive Director, Roger Cooper, has gained a wealth of experience in the senior living industry. Roger is passionate about his team members and providing exceptional lifestyle experiences for residents and their families and friends. Aegina has a Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and has worked with senior adults for over 20 years providing them with opportunities for fun and fellowship. She also enjoys providing opportunities to further their individual desires to learn new and varied things. Aegina views working with senior adults as an opportunity to invest in someone else’s well-being and helping them to continue to have value and meaning in their days. (She is also known for giving great hugs when needed.)
When Aegina is not busy bringing joy to the residents of SummerHouse she loves spending time with her boyfriend of 18 years and their three furballs- MoxieSox (8 year old Maltipoo); Millicent Beatrix Buttons (aka Millie- my 14 year old “pound puppy”) and Meeko (rescued street cat). She also enjoys traveling; spending time with family and friends; arts and crafts and reading.
I am a RN with 11 years of experience serving Seniors in various roles in throughout our local area. I pride myself in being a resident advocate who believes in empowering Seniors and families by delivering health education and care that enhances wellness and quality of life. For the past 3 years I have served as the Director of Health and Wellness here at Heritage Woods. My experience here has inspired me to expand my knowledge base and expertise in the Assisted Living setting by obtaining a Category II Assisted Living Administrator license in 2021. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 14 years. We have two kids and a rehomed cat named Okoye. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and “doing brunch” with friends.
I’ve been a nurse for 12 years with my focus being Geriatrics. I started working in this community in March of 2016 as an LPN. In July 2018, I was promoted to Training Development Coordinator and now Memory Care Director (since October 2020) I have been married to my husband, Jonathan, for 10 years. We have three Children – Colby, Johnathan, & Chloe. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach & Scrapbooking.
